Pimp my puter Wednesday

Well Mum has "Duck Friday" inspired by "Goat Friday" I believe, so I'm bringing you "Pimp my puter Wednesday"

Okay as you may have noticed by my post "THE keyboard" I am dreaming of upgrades for my PC. Nothing to do with how it runs, my PC is super the way it is. I just long for some prettier peripherals to make my computing experience all the more pleasant. That and who doesn't love new things with funky lights on them!

So I give you THE case! Just a dream for the moment as my current case is still pretty and is in perfect working order. And I definitely have better ways to spend my money (damn us needing food and such hehehe) so I plan to save my pennies (yes I actually have a jar I'm putting my silver coins into for these upgrades) and pimp out my puter piece by piece. The case will very likely be last due to my more pressing need for a more responsive mouse and less sticky keyboard.

I will welcome any suggestions on things I could waste my money on! And I hope someone is interested to see what item I pick for next week, not as thrilling as ducks and goats but its all I could think of for now :)

How depressing it must be when you take your big jar of silver coins to the bank and have them run it through their coin counter - and the lot adds up to less than $50!

Not that I collect silver coins - but I work in a bank and that sort of shit all day long.

Seeing the disappointed looks on peoples' faces when I tell them their lunchbox of five cent pieces doesn't add up to several thousand dollars is one of the best parts of the job.

HAHAHA Well I do mix in any change (silver gold or paper) that comes out of Mr M's work pants... silly man shouldn't leave his tip money in there to go through the wash! But I do appreciate his donations to my computer upgrades :D

Caz 7 February 2007 at 8:03 pm

Oh WOW - are YOU in for it young lady!

I had Duck Friday LOOOOONG before Jacob had Goat Friday!

Chazz 7 February 2007 at 8:09 pm

A ohhhhhh yep I'm in for it... I got it mixed up!
I apologise profusely!

Caz 7 February 2007 at 8:14 pm

No, seriously, you do NOT need this case. Really. Why not just buy some glue and pretty paper, if that's the way you want to go ...

James Waterton 7 February 2007 at 9:20 pm

A lunchbox of mostly silver but also some gold - and a sparse sprinkling of notes - can yield a nice booty of yellow notes. Three or four, I reckon. See, you might be able to buy that case after all.

PS. no one has mentioned my inaugural Panda Saturday.

Caz 8 February 2007 at 8:21 pm

WHAT - there's a PANDA SATURDAY in the blogosphere?

No one told me!

What is it with *you* people ... Wednesday ... Saturday ... FRIDAY is theme day, FRIDAY!

Don't *you* people own calendars?

You should be proud of your mum!

She don't pander(panda ) to the crowd!!
She's an individual..

Just ask Mark Jackson!!!

James Waterton 8 February 2007 at 11:33 pm

I am not panda-ing to the crowd. Just a bunch of cooing Japanese young ladies.

Chazz 9 February 2007 at 12:08 am

Ahh but thats the point... Mum has Friday covered... I just cant compete with that!
So I picked Wednesday because I rarely have work due in on Wednesdays so I am free to roam the web looking for items for my theme :D

Caz 9 February 2007 at 9:26 pm

Err, I don't reckon my baby would get the Mark Jackson reference Kath ... you're sure going a way back.

James has moved beyond pander-ing (oh, you're a clever girl Kath!) - now he's cheating!!!!
