Toddler joy

The top of my shopping list this week goes something like this....
500g bag of salt (I make my own playdoh don't actually use salt in food)
2kgs of SR flour
2kgs of white sugar
1kg of brown sugar
and lots of rice.

You might look at this and think I do a lot of baking... Fact is, while I do cook every day, I need to replace these items due to Mr Mr taking these things out of my cupboards in the morning and playing with them. The other morning for instance I woke up only to step in a giant mound of brown sugar next to my bed. This morning I woke up to find salt all through Mr Mr's hair, all over his table and all over (and inside) his fisher price stride n ride toy.

I guess some people might think it nice to wake up only to have to vacuum as soon as they are out of bed, but I'm not one of them!

Oh well Its just one of the many joys of toddlerdom I guess... joy for him that is :D

Chazz don't get too carried away by the salt thing!

Unless you have a history of high blood pressure and heart disease in your family, reasonable use of salt is not harnful.

You know , just as too much salt can be harmful, too litle can also be harmful too!

I have to say that I am a liberal user of salt.

Love it on grilled tomato ,potato steak etc.

My blood pressure is 120/70 I am not over weight( neither is the family)
and have no history of heart problems..

Oh I don't think salt is evil or anything. I just don't like salt on my food. Its a taste thing.
I know there is a lot of stuff about iodine deficiencies because of lack of salt to I do actually add a little to lil boys food.
I just think saying I'm buying more than a shaker full of salt might sound a wee bit unhealthy hehehe

Kath - the salt thing isn't even my fault. I'm a salt fiend, up to a point. The Princess has never been one for salt, even when she was teeny.

But I see a different family pattern here. I still remember one morning when I slept in badly, and there was Princess Toddler, standing on the kitchen bench with all overhead cupboards open, surrounded by the emptied-out contents of every single packet of everything she could lay her hands on - flour, sugar, cereals, the lot.

Oh, Kath, you really are a woman after my own heart: salt on grilled tomatoes ... hmmmmmmmm, yum.

I'm rather partial to ground peper these days too.

Hey! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine
Optimization? I'm trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I'm not seeing
very good success. If you know of any please share.
Thank you!

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the page layout of your blog?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe
you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it
better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having
one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

Hey there! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?

I'm getting tired of Wordpress because I've had issues with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

I am really enjoying the theme/design of your web site.
Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues?
A number of my blog audience have complained about my website not
working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera.
Do you have any recommendations to help fix this issue?

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add
to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.
I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
